One of the largest waste management companies in Australia providing sustainable waste management solutions to a range of customers including councils, small businesses, large corporate entities and government agencies to provide sustainable waste management solutions.

**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join the team on a 6 month contract to work alongside the Branch Manager in driving operational efficiences, coordinating day to day operations and improving service delivery.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and schedule day to day operations of warehouse
- Consult with management in the development and management of operational targets
- Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
- Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve and service issues
- Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery
- Manage and prepare detailed reports on lab or efficiencies and overall cost management
- Lead performance management investigations and outcomes

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in a leading a large workforce
- Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
- Experience within the transport / waste / logistics and recycling industries is advantageous
- Dangerous goods awareness preferred
- Intermediate excel and Word experience
