Our client is an Australian based fine wine distributor with an envious portfolio.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and highly motivated experiences sales professional or a Sommelier wanting to start their sales career, to join their dynamic team and help grow distribution. The focus will be on delivering consistent and profitable sales growth in On and Off premise channels by developing and implementing effective activations, identifying and converting new customers and growing brand awareness.
Key responsibilities include:

- building strong relationships with existing and new customers
- educating customers and growing brand awareness to deliver sales growth
- working with trade marketing to develop appropriate customer initiatives and events
- developing and maintaining a structured monthly call cycle utilising the CRM for information sharing, sales and activity reporting
- contributing to sales forecasting and business planning processes
- driving presence and sales of award winning wines in key venues
- achieving the required product mix targets
- targeting hero venues who will champion the companies premium wines

This is a terrific opportunity if you are passionate about wine, can demonstrate commercial thinking and a desire to drive sales outcomes. A strong communicator, you are highly organised with a performance oriented mindset. A can do attitude combined with your understanding of the liquor industry, will ensure success in the role.
