**Your role**
The Policy and Project Officer Position sits within the Systemic Change team within the Community and Policy Division. The Project Officer will support operations of the refreshed Multicultural Policies and Services Program (MPSP) across all public sector agencies including yearly sector reporting of the MPSP as per the Multicultural NSW Act (2000). The Project Officer will also support other systemic change and reform projects which align to agency priorities such as anti-racism.
**What you’ll do**
- Preparing and maintaining high quality project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes
- Engaging with stakeholders including coordinating working groups, committees and consultations to support project delivery in line with project plans
- Sourcing, collating and critically analysing data and information to identify emerging issues, and develop informed positions on relevant policy and project issues
**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in supporting innovative approaches to social policy
- Experience in implementing interagency projects, reforms or strategic initiatives
- Experience undertaking all aspects of the policy and project process - research, development, delivery, review and evaluation
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation
- Exceptional level of written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
