The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for providing technical expertise to potential clients. Their primary role is supporting the sales team by articulating the technical features, advantages, and benefits of the Vizrt products and services. They work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and to design solutions that meet their needs. They prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, providing detailed technical information and answering any questions they may have.
**Tasks and Duties**
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to customers on Vizrt's products and solutions.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand their commercial needs and provide customers with pre-sales support and technical guidance.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
- Design and develop technical solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Create and review proposals and quotes to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Complete technical proposals for statements of work, RFI, and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and professional services, to ensure the successful delivery of customer solutions.
- Keep updated with industry trends and technologies relevant to Vizrt's products and solutions.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase Vizrt's solutions and build customer relationships.
- Mentor and train other technical Pre-Sales Consultants
**Requirements**:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology, can be helpful.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical Pre-Sales role in a software company, preferably within media asset management.
- The ability to effectively articulate technical details and benefits to customers and explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience in a technical sales environment, including working with sales teams, providing pre-sales support, and delivering technical demonstrations and presentations to customers.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as they will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, provide solutions, and build relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into innovative and scalable solutions.
- Deep understanding of media asset management principles, workflows, and technologies, including MAM platforms, DAM systems, and metadata standards.
**Supervision Received**
- This role requires a high level of technical expertise and experience, which allows them to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Regular performance reviews to ensure they are meeting the expected targets and delivering value to the organisation.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure the consultant is up to date with the latest products, services, and technologies and can continuously improve their skills and knowledge.
- Regular collaboration with the sales team to ensure alignment of goals and support when required.
- Providing feedback and guidance on best practices, problem-solving, and decision-making to ensure the consultant effectively serves the organisation's needs.
- Ensuring the consultant can access the necessary resources and tools to do their job effectively, such as technical support, product documentation, and sales materials.
