Our client is an ASX listed Australian Chemical and Fertilizer company with operations nationally and across New Zealand. Currently they are seeking a
**Commercial Credit Officer** to assist within a busy accounts department.

Reporting into a charismatic leader you will be responsible for the management of outbound and inbound calls, dealing with customer enquiries, together with investigating and assessing overdue commercial accounts.

This highly visible role will assist with championing process improvements and provide effective management of end-to-end collection strategies.

Previous experience in a commercial credit environment will see you hit the floor running.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Building customer relationships and solving queries
- Account reconciliations
- Ensuring customers are paying to agreed terms
- Monitoring of credit limits
- Updating customer data
- Negotiating payment arrangements
- Preparation of reports

**Key skills required**:

- 3 + years in a credit management or AR role
- Advanced M/S Office
- High level of communication skills
- Excellent understanding of legal procedures for debt recovery
- Ability to multitask
- Accuracy and attention to detail
