**In this role you will**:

- Contribute to the development, promotion and implementation of the Agency's strategic goals and direction.
- Contribute to the policy framework for the Agency in managing sexual offenders.
- Provide advice to the Director, HROMU on the development of the Agency DPSOA policies consistent with the Whole of Government agenda.
- Assist senior management in the identification of risk to the Agency and the community by ensuring compliance with accountability standards and procedures within P&P.
- Provide high level operational support and advice to senior management on DPSOA issues.
- Preparation of reports, submissions, briefs and other correspondence as required.
- Assist with the development and implementation of innovative and practical strategies, which support best practice in integrated offender management, to address identified operational performance issues.
- Ensure a high standard of Agency communication, adherence to timeframes and appropriate prioritisation.
- Provide formal training and information in relation to DPSOA legislation, management and current practices for external stakeholders, managers and field staff.
- Ensure operational unit of HROMU complies with accountability standards and procedures.
- Monitor accuracy and quality of generated reports in accordance with Agency guidelines and protocols.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback on regular basis in accordance with the Agency's performance management processes and procedures.
- Provide significant contribution to the creation and implementation of operational HROMU plans.
- Represent and promote the activities of the Agency and develop productive relationships with relevant community agencies to enhance the community's regard for QCS.
- Ensure compliance with implemented protocols and procedures for external agencies in accordance with relevant legislation and ensure the appropriate and timely exchange of information with relevant agencies to optimise offender management that is consistent with the high standards of community safety.
