**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Budget Analyst to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.
The Budget Analyst contributes to the preparation of budgets and financial management documentation across various business units and projects within their client portfolio. This role encompasses budgeting, forecasting, reporting, monitoring and analysis of accounts, reconciliations and journal entries. This position collaborates with staff within the Faculty and other Divisions to provide timely, accurate and high-quality advice to academic and professional staff and management, enabling them to make informed financial and resource decisions. This position reports to the Faculty Finance Manager for career planning, development, and performance expectations.

**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in a related discipline with relevant work experience in financial administration.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the management of financial accounts, budgets and forecasts and maintenance of accurate financial statements and records.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice on financial and other data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of stakeholders.
