Our client is an innovative Australian manufacturing leader in their field. With the opportunity to join as they embark upon the next phase of their growth, we are seeking an WHS Coordinator.

This position is a highly visible role and will provide you with the opportunity to obtain an holistic view of a safety system, learning all aspects in a manufacturing environment that is growing and developing. Key aspects of this position include:

- Ensuring the coordination and implementation of health and safety programs;
- Provision of advice and assistance on all safety matters, to all workers;
- Focusing on strong preventative activities and processes;
- Participation in the development and further improvement of the WHS Management System.
- Developing and maintaining a training and development structure and system;
- Working with managers and supervisors to ensure workers receive the training required to carry out tasks effectively and safely; and
- Contributing to various projects.

A key aspect of this opportunity is the chance to learn - a chance to take your existing WHS qualifications (Cert IV min)and experience to a new level. With a supportive, hands on manager, you will be mentored and given the autonomy to grow. Working side by side on the factory floor and throughout the organisation you will enjoy positive, collaborative, solution focused relationships with managers, staff and Executives. Your work is even of significant importance to the Board.
