**How will I help?**
You will join Westpac’s Global Transaction Services (GTS) business, as a Client Development Manager in the Client Engagement Team, dedicated to managing and maintaining a senior portfolio of key Institutional Corporate clients.
You will be responsible for partnering with and managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients operating across various industries. Tasked with driving revenue growth via cross sell and maximising deposits through consistent sales activity and pipeline management. You will be confident in identifying new opportunities for our clients and will demonstrate value-add services by designing and delivering innovative solutions and presentations to improve operational and financial efficiency.

- Manage the sales process for new and existing opportunities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s strategy to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with the GTS technology and product investment road mapParticipate and/or lead deal teams where clients choose to run a tender process at the end of their contract term

You’ll be set up for success in your transition to the role. With a team of 6 Sydney-based colleagues, you’ll collaborate in person in our Kent Street office to re-group and connect with dedicated sales managers, clients and sales representatives.
Additionally, whatever shape your family takes, we’ll continue to offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we’ll continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.
**What do I need?**
You will be a seasoned Client Development Manager, Relationship Manager or established transactional banker who has experience managing and meeting the needs of our clients and confident in developing long-term strategic sales plans to retain relationships. You will be able to analyse the existing strategy of your client to identify conversation points and product opportunities.
Some further advantageous skills:
- Exceptional skills in negotiation and relationship management
- Advanced abilities in presentation, pitch creation, and solution mapping
- Familiarity with strict sales disciplines such as pipeline management, call reports and sales plans
- Strong awareness of industry and economic trends & a keen interest and acumen in current eventsTransactional banking experience, ideally in sales is highly advantageous
