The FSA Client Coverage team is part of NAB’s Corporate & Institutional Banking Business. The FSA Client Coverage team is responsible for origination activity and management of fund sponsor and strategic investor client relationships and origination activity across their relevant sectors (funds, property, resources, energy & utilities, renewables and infrastructure) and products. The FSA Client Coverage team is also responsible for setting and delivering on industry and client strategy.

The Associate Director opportunity will see you collaborating with the Head of Origination FSA on FSA business strategy and client insights. This will include working with a broad range of product specialists such Markets, Specialised Financing, Transaction Banking & DCM, the Client Management & Execution (CME) team, other Coverage teams and credit/ risk colleagues. **As our Associate Director you will be responsible for the following key areas**:

- Relationship management for relevant clients
- Research, creation and delivery of key content for presentations
- Delivery of high quality strategic insights and activities for clients
- Client coverage and origination activities within the FSA sector, with a focus on PCSI EU&I clients
- Support of FSA and PCSI strategy development through strategic problem solving activities, presentation creation and writing
- Pipeline management, account planning and multi-product origination
- Credit risk quality of the designated client set
- Proactive risk management to meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified
- Raising and enhancing the profile of NAB in the marketplace.
- Decision making on transactions, supported by sound reasoning and in line with Delegated Credit Authority

**You’ll have instant impact by leveraging from the following skills and experience**:

- Managing complex client relationships and driving client advocacy and multi-product origination, to deliver revenue and financial outperformance
- Proven experience of being an effective team player and helping to build a strong sales excellence culture
- Demonstrating deep understanding of institutional banking, general accounting principles, project and structured financing
- Demonstrating strong risk culture and outcomes
- Research, writing and presentation delivery experience
- Strategy development experience
- EU&I experience is not essential, but highly regarded
- Sustainability / ESG related experience is not essential, but highly regarded.
