We are looking for someone to bring fresh ideas in to our small business. The role will be split between Marketing and Sales. Being an All-Rounder is critical in a small business. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager, to work on marketing and sales campaings, as well as being face to face with our customers in a sales assistant role.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable retail assistant for our flagship store in Carlton North, Melbourne.

We are looking for someone who can come in and make an immediate impact. We are a small business that is always looking for fresh ideas to take us forward. Enjoy a mix of creative freedom as well as working closely with a team to achieve shared goals. The dual position we are looking to fill offers two roles within our business set up:
Role #1: Sales Assistant

Working closely with our Showroom manager, there will be several days of the schedule that you will need to engage with customers and provide exceptional customer service. We have a great framework for success when it comes to Sales, and the training will involve lots of product information and practice in sales technique. The Sales assistant role will be a the primary position and will require working weekends. It is a critical element of the role and at times you will be working alone in the showroom.

We pride ourselves on customer service and this is a key element to the role. You may spend over an hour with a client, guiding them through our various sofa bed designs and fabrics. Having a keen eye for styling and design is important, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to a clean and calm showroom experience.

Key Skills:

- Effective communication
- Confident and comfortable talking one-on-one with customers
- Interest in interior design and styling

Role #2: Marketing/Social Media Assistant

The role will require some experience in marketing and social media campaigns. Work from our beautiful showroom in Carlton North shooting content in-store, with the possibilty for location shoots. The room to grow this part of the role is significant and can lead to further opportunities as your skill set develops.

You will be working closely with our Head of Marketing and Socials, who will provide a framework for you to succeed within.
