**Social Media Specialist**

Gray's Fitness is Australia's largest commercial gym equipment reseller. We have a massive presence online and want to focus on our social media growth. Our marketing team is recruiting a social media assistant in this entry-level role to help promote our brand on Social media.

**About the Role**:

- Work from our Altona North facility
- Casual/Part-time (24 hours a week, 3 days),
- On-going position (with the possibility to turn full-time)
- Entry-level role, 1-year experience in social media or marketing-related roles preferred
- Hourly rates - ($30 - $35 per hour)

**Required Skills**:

- Be comfortable in front of the camera.
- Understanding of social media marketing and advertising
- Able to create content including, shorts, reels, and videos for Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
- Basic video editing experience both on mobile and desktop
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later or similar)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Excel (also Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Indesign

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing, managing, and implementing our social media strategy.
- Create social media content plan.
- Create and schedule social media content.
- Manage Facebook Marketplace listing and communications.
- Engage with followers, and other relevant influencers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- ALTONA NORTH, VIC 3025: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.: 1 year (preferred)
- Video Editing: 1 year (preferred)
- Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
