**The Role**
- Manage resource allocations and priorities effectively for the team
- Lead and work on various development projects
- Architect and design technical solutions that are secure, scalable and reliable
- Work closely with Project Manager, Product Manager and BA and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and product delivery estimates
- Ensure measures and relevant targets are clearly articulated and understood
- Actively coach and proactively seek opportunities for skill development and growth for team members
- Demonstrate and follow development practices by following the key aspects of agile/scrum methodology
- Keep up to date with emerging IT trends and technologies and the industry's best practices

**The Person**

A strong leader in your team, you will be solution-focused and dedicated to coaching and training others on development best practice. You will also possess:

- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer/Lead Developer
- Strong experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
- Strong experience programming in React, JavaScript and Java and the associated frameworks
- Strong knowledge and experience working with enterprise databases
- Specific experience with SQL
- Experience working in Agile Software development environment
