**About the role**

As the Compliance Response Officer, you will have the authority and responsibility to address and mitigate issues and risks across various activities. This position demands a seasoned professional who can provide effective leadership, strategic planning, resource management, and performance oversight to a team within the labour hire compliance domain. Key Responsibilities may include:

- Lead and manage compliance officers, providing daily guidance and fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Oversee operational activities in alignment with KPIs, ensuring prompt and effective responses to critical matters.
- Support and supervise team coordinators to optimize their performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk profiles, compliance policies, quality processes, and escalation protocols.
- Monitor and report on work output, quality, and impact against established standards.
- Provide expert operational advice on non-routine matters.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ability to provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to compliance officers and coordinators.
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Extensive understanding of compliance practices, legislation, policies, and regulations related to labour hire or relevant area.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide operational advice, interact with stakeholders, and convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
