**About the Opportunity**
Working closely with our Project Managers, this position advises best practice Procurement & Logistics strategy, associated costs, and coordinates personnel and processes to ensure effective distribution of goods and services to ICON’s project teams. This role has the autonomy to identify and drive any identified opportunities for continuous improvement and mentor and coach more junior team members.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs), subcontracts, and supply agreements in line with company policies and project requirements.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from pre-tender to contract close-out, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and materials or services purchase meet ICON quality requirements.
- Monitor market trends, materials costs, and risks that may impact procurement performance or project delivery.
- Work with site and project teams to forecast material requirements and prevent delays due to supply issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
- Undertaking major contract negotiations within the approved pricing policy and establishes procurement programs to match the company’s requirements.

**About You**
- 5+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Focused on compliance with relevant legislation, company policies, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, and an elevated level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- A confident relationship builder who loves to deliver first-rate customer service.
- Forklift ticket, Rigging or Dogman tickets, and Dangerous Goods Transport & Handling certificate; or the willingness to achieve these.
