We are continuously growing and currently have 4 supported accommodations across outer Melbourne suburbs (Wyndham Vale/Melton South) and are looking for a team leader to manage the operations across all houses.

**The role**

Reporting to our Operations Manager, the Team Leader will manage the operations of our support accommodations. The role will lead, manage, and develop support staff to provide high-quality and value-aligned support across our Supported Accommodation Services.

This is full-time opportunity with flexible working options.

**About you**
- A natural leader, with a positive attitude, professional conduct and commitment to quality outcomes and service delivery for staff, individuals with a disability and the community
- Understand legislative, contractual, and internal policy, practice and reporting requirements in the NDIS sector
- Enjoy working with a high-performance group of colleagues and peers and accept responsibility and accountability
- Are self-motivated, well organised, and resourceful. possess a high level of integrity, passion, and reliability. Are an advocate for independence.

**The key responsibilities will include**:

- Overall leadership and management of our Supported Accommodation Services (STA, MTA and SIL)
- Business Development in the ongoing recruitment and retention of STA, MTA and SIL Participants
- Scheduling of support staff and ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely manner
- Understanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care plan
- Supervision of support workers on a regular basis
- Maintain and build relationships with existing Participants and key referrers such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health Professionals
- Supporting Participants, their families and carers to understand and access the business’ services and policies
- Nurturing a network of connections across the disability and community care sector
- Develop and Maintain Operational Administrative Systems, Procedures and Processes to Support Effective Management of all areas of Service Delivery
- Reporting incidents immediately in line with the NDIS Incident reporting
- Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by Operations Manager

**Mandatory requirement**:

- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Immunization evidence required
- Drivers’ License

**Is this you?**
- Cert III/IV in Disability or similar (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a managerial role in NDIS/Mental health (desirable)
- Ability to support participants to set and achieve their goals; work with the coordinator and team to further develop the person-centred care plans
- Demonstrated experience in rostering/scheduling within the healthcare sector
- Driven, passionate and dedicated to delivering effective supports to with people with disability
- Ability to calmly perform in high pressure situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
