The role will require full visibility across all design, manufacturing, purchase order and logístical elements of Paul Carroll shoes China dealings.

The role will be based in Perth at home office in Osborne Park, Western Australia and will also require travel back and forth between home office and various factories, suppliers, markets and tanneries in China.

The role requires a vastly experienced footwear and footwear component specialist who has good knowledge of, factory production methods, logistics and is able to speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Interpreting our design ideas and IP and building production ranges directly with manufacturers from the ground up.
- Sourcing a wide range of products as an agent. Predominantly footwear and footwear related products.
- Selecting different styles of footwear from shoe factories or shoe wholesalers to produce sample collections for us to create future collections.
- Collaborated with suppliers to secure favourable terms and achieving fair purchasing costs.
- Providing final purchase orders to the factory/s.
- Maintaining core products and ensuring stock levels are regularly updated.
- Oversee entire production/manufacturing run and perform detailed quality control and inspection of footwear prior to shipping.
- Produce detailed product assortment for various wholesale customers of major clients.
- Coordinate orders with production teams to ensure timely delivery.
- The role based in Perth will also require travel back and forth between home office and various factories as well as suppliers, markets and tanneries.
- Arranging the export business processes, including shipping, import, export and custom requirements.
- Arrange return meetings for Paul Carroll shoes senior staff to visit, to ensure high quality production and working conditions.

Pay: Up to $77,500.00 per year
