This Relationship Manager position is with one of Australia's leading Banks, based in the Sunshine Coast.
**Your new role**
In this role you will support the District Manager and Executive Manager in driving regional revenue and growth through excellent customer service, connecting customers to products, and effective risk management. With the support from an Assistant Relationship manager, this role will manage and grow a portfolio of business customers, providing value to customers across Commercial and Small Business channels in each regional market.
Your responsibilities will include (not limited to);
- Maximise the visibility of the brand throughout the region by actively and positively promoting the company at public events. Network and liaise with tier 1 customers in conjunction with District Manager to optimise and maintain relationships and promote customer retention.
- Manage the Group’s relationship with customers within your assigned portfolio tier (portfolios are tiered as sub $1M, $1M-$10M or $10M plus).
- Source new business relationships to grow business banking lending portfolio.
- Monitor and analyse portfolio growth, sales, service, credit quality, MFI, ROI and expense results for the portfolio. Identify and implement corrective activity where performance gaps exist within budgeted targets.
- Support the success of the region through promoting the Regional Workflow Model. Encourage your Assistant Relationship Manager to take on tasks from busier centres and cooperate with the Operations Delivery Manager (or other regional workflow controller).
- Assist the company's understanding of and meeting of holistic customer needs as well as lending needs (through genuine Connected Customer conversations).
- Provide effective feedback to operational, segment and risk areas via the Operations Delivery Manager or Regional Manager on issues that have an impact on that area of the business.
