Due to an increased number of large, transformational ICT projects the NSW Police currently underway, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic **Project Coordinator** to join our innovative team and embark on a large transformation program which will help shape the future of policing. The role is full time, 12-month contract based in Parramatta with remote work flexibility, 5 min walking distance to public transport, shops and Parramatta Square.

**About the role**

There has never been a more exciting time to join the NSW Police Force as we deliver the largest operational transformation the NSW Police Force has ever undertaken. As part of your role, you will have the opportunity to support the technical team consisting of Program, & Project Manager, Business Analyst and Developers to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects activities in line with established objectives.

This role will provide the incumbent with an opportunity to bring connection between business and systems, working with the key stakeholders, the incumbent will provide day to day operational support including documentation management, reporting on project status and financial reporting, along with tracking risk issues and project deliverables.

**Essential requirements**
- Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearances for this position.

To be considered for this role it is important for applicants to have Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Min. 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Project Coordinator within a Government department or equivalent private sector experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting various ICT Projects.
- Prior experience assisting with activities to ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Solid knowledge and exposure to project management methodologies and the ability to work across multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Good experience with financial reporting and spreadsheets.
- Strong MS Office skills - Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
- Exceptional Stakeholder management experience.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
