**About the role**:
Reporting to the SALHN Biomedical Engineering Manager, your main objectives are:

- To assure the safety, effectiveness, availability and compliance of biomedical technology used directly for patient diagnosis, treatment or monitoring for or in connection with the public hospital and healthcare facilities of Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN)
- To supervise a multidisciplinary team responsible for a range of timely plant, engineering and trade related remedial and maintenance services, advice, assistance and guidance in relation to critical biomedical devices and systems.
- Investigate major equipment failures and incidents, and provide specialist high level biomedical diagnostic and expertise in, to ensure the resolution of complex remedial maintenance issues

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in managing and evaluating the delivery of remedial and preventative maintenance services including the ability to build customer relations, create service delivery schedules and develop standardised processes
- Sound experience in providing specialist biomedical engineering analysis and expertise in the resolution of highly complex remedial maintenance issues
- Experience in planning and delivering continuous improvement projects, processes, systems and organisational change initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in managing and monitoring staff and contractor performance and fostering the development of staff
