**The Role**:
The main purpose of this role will be to provide efficient, responsive and professional service across a range of collection functions ensuring a positive outcome for the company and customers.

You’ll be responsible for timely and effective resolution of delinquent customer accounts, ensuring correct procedures are followed and enforcement action is timely and compliant.

**Some Key Responsibilities of this role**:
**Collections**:

- Evaluate options and resolve customer payment issues.
- Recommend the preferred course of actioning to resolve arrears issue.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account actioning.
- Determine the customer’s ability to rectify the problem.
- Negotiate a timely and effective outcome.
- Recommend loss write-off action.
- Compile month end reports of ‘owned accounts’.

**Customer Service / Quality**:

- Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
- Proactively deal directly with customers either by telephone or electronically.
- Ensure a high level of verbal and written communication.
- Consistently demonstrate respect, responsiveness and professionalism when interacting with customers.

**Record Keeping**:

- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Record details of enquiries, comments and complaints and actions taken.

**To be considered for this role you’ll have**:

- Experience working in an office environment.
- Prior debt collection experience desirable.
- Demonstrated customer focus.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
