**Support Worker / Mentor - Build Confidence & Independence (North Eastern Suburbs, Adelaide)**

**Monix Disability Services** is seeking a compassionate and reliable **Support Worker / Mentor** to support a young participant in the **North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide**.
The role focuses on helping the participant gain confidence, develop social and vocational skills, and engage in meaningful community activities.

**About the Role**

You’ll be providing one-on-one mentorship to a participant who is working towards personal and community goals such as:

- Building confidence in public and social settings
- Exploring vocational interests like animal care or hairdressing
- Encouraging independence and daily living skills
- Supporting participation in creative and recreational activities

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys making a positive difference through guidance, patience, and consistency.

**What We’re Looking For**
- A caring and encouraging personality with good communication skills
- Experience or genuine interest in mentoring, youth work, or community services
- Ability to inspire and guide with empathy and understanding
- **Female mentor preferred** (as per participant’s request)
- Experience supporting young adults is desirable

**Requirements**:

- Current **NDIS Worker Screening Check**:

- **First Aid & CPR Certificate**:

- **Driver’s Licence** and reliable vehicle (preferred)
- Certificate III or above in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
