**About the role**:
Within this role, you will be expected to perform direct care duties with compassion and professionalism. These duties may include:

- Assistance with daily hygiene (showering, dressing, toilet)
- Assistance in meal preparation and shopping
- Supervision of medication
- Daily activities such as washing or cleaning
- Transporting to appointments
- Facilitating community participation and inclusion
- Providing companionship and support
- Prompting positive routines and behaviors in a cooperative and respective manner

**Essential for the role**:

- Minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability / Mental Health/ Individual Support / Aged Care / Nursing / Health Services Assistant Or be a current Nursing student (should have completed Cert III equivalent placements) _**or willingness to obtain**_

**Highly Desirable**
- Psychosocial Disability Experience with conditions such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, BPD, Autism, Alzheimer's, and Huntington's.

**Additionally, you will require**:

- COVID vaccinations
- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Roadworthy/Comprehensively insured vehicle and valid Driver's License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (DHS Disability Service Employment Check)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- First Aid Certificate
- National Police Clearance Check (not older than 3 years)
- Australian work rights
- 100 points proof of ID
- Manual Handling
- Flexible availability (days, weekends, and sleepovers)
- Immediate Start
