**ABOUT US**

INTRO Travel is an award winning Tour Operator that operates amazing tours for young people in 12 different countries.

**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a Tour Operations Manager to be based in our Sydney office. You will be managing a small team of Group Leaders in Sydney and New Zealand, and will be working with the management team on a daily basis. The role is full time, the hours are flexible and the job is challenging, rewarding and a lot of fun

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Managing a small team of Group Leaders to ensure that our tours run smoothly, our staff are happy and performing their jobs well, and our customers are having an amazing time and are staying safe.
- The majority of the job is managing the operations, however you will also be working with suppliers, managing staff, and working with our marketing, accounts and operations teams on a regular basis.
- Recruiting, interviewing, training and mentoring new Group Leaders.
- Liaising with travel partners, including tour operators, hotels, and hostels, to manage bookings, schedules and costs.
- Maintain regular contact and build relationships with key operators and providers.
- You will also have the opportunity to be involved in product development, process improvements, and cost saving & customer service initiatives.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED**
- No relevant experience is necessary. However you must be passionate about travel and have a general underatanding of the industry.
- You must enjoy working with people and be a great communicator.
- Management experience is beneficial, but not essential.
- You must either be a permanent resident of Australia or NZ or have work rights for Australia.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
