Brisbane based technical management specialists is looking for an Operations Manager for a newly created role.

**Your new company**
Your new company is a Brisbane based technical management company specialising in the maritime industry. Delivering vital services that support Australian infrastructure, trade, and security, your future employer services time critical, remote environment and sensitive work activities. With arms across multiple sectors, from technical surveillance to pilotage and rescue services, and across multiple geographic locations and ports, your new company is growing fast - and as a result has recently created this role to help oversee their expansion.

**Your new role**
As the Operations Manager, you will have oversight, and help set and engage the companies strategic plan for a new arm of the company. Reporting into the General Manager with indirect reports to the broader management team, you will be responsible for a team of twenty, delivering service planning, service delivery, issue management and monitoring to ensure the client achieves operational business outcomes. Your office is based in Eagle Farm, and with occasional trips to Melbourne, as well as to the Sunshine Coast intermittently, you'll get a change of scenery semi-regularly.

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed, you'll ideally come from either a maritime compliance, vessel management or maritime safety background, with that being said, aviation and general shipping backgrounds will also be highly advantageous. You'll be an open minded person who loves to collaborate on efficient solutions to technical projects and problems. Finally, you'll need to be an exceptional planner, an excellent communicator and forward thinking while focussing on immediate, tangible outcomes to service the clients needs.
