Temporary contract Finance Services Officer role based in the Hobart CBD fringe

**Your new company**

Based in the city fringes, this position sits within one of the five municipalities that constitutes the Greater Hobart area. This is a temp role offers full-time hours for 3 weeks.

**Your new role**

You will provide finance and clerical assistance to a busy division for a 3-week period. Your core duties will be providing general support to the Accounts Payable team will include duties such as:

- Accurate data entry
- Processing invoices for clients
- Maintain financial records in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
- Raise and receipt Accounts Receivable transactions in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
- Check the accuracy of information during data capture, identify discrepancies and correct charges, calculations and codes

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful, you:

- Will be able to demonstrate the ability to undertake clerical, administrative and financial tasks, utilising financial management information systems and MS Office software
- Have the ability to process high volume data with accuracy to detail
- Have knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures, including financial regulations, legislations and policies
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent time management skills,
- Be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure.
- Tech One experience desirable.
