**About the role**

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to become part of Huon’s dynamic finance team Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Accounts Payable functions. You’ll be joining a small, passionate team invested in career development.

As Accounts Payable Officer, you will:

- Analyse and process high volume transactions to optimise the company’s cashflow.
- Receive and input invoices into our accounts payable systems, matching them with purchase orders for timely payment.
- Build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholder, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries.
- Maintain and create vendor master data in accordance with company due diligence, ensuring all vendor accounts are up to date.
- Assist with month end processes and prepare EFT payments for timely approvals.

**About you**
- You have relevant qualifications in accounts payable with experience in reconciliation.
- You are a confident communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Your organisation and multi-tasking skills are a strength, as is your ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- You have a growth mindset, demonstrating a willingness to learn and respond positively to feedback.
- You excel at handling repetitive tasks with a keen eye for detail in a high-volume environment.
