We are looking for a Data Governance Manager/ Specialist to join our client's team (one of Australia's leading charities) on a short term contract, based in Melbourne. You will be responsible for building the organisations data governance framework and future proofing the business.

**Key skills/ requirements**:

- 3-5 years experience in data governance, architecture or similar data projects.
- Strong ability to establish Data Governance Framework and make recommendations to the organisation.
- Expert knowledge of Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to non-experts.
- Excellent analytical, planning, organisational and technical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated history of dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in NFP sector would be beneficial.

**What's on offer?**
- Initial 3-month daily rate contract (opportunity to stay on long-term)
- Circa $1,000 p/d
- Flexible/ Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office - Melbourne CBD)
