This will be somewhat of an unconventional role as we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer/Buyers Assistant with the need of flexibility as required.

Full time position located in West Footscray

As the Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer, your role is to assist in day to day financial and administrative activities including the processing of accounts transactions, coordinating invoicing and billing processes and data entry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining customer accounts
- Raising and sending invoices to customers
- Collecting payments
- Handling customer inquiries regarding billing issues
- Matching payments to invoice numbers or sales orders
- Processing credit card details
- Data entry, filing, preparation of adhoc reports
- Assist and support payroll as required
- Answering phone calls

**To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following**:

- Preferably some experienced and knowledge in MYOB
- Independent time management by achieving processing deadlines
- Intermediate computing skills, including Word, Excel and accounting software (e.g. importing/exporting data from other platforms, filters)
- Highly organised and eye for detail

As the Buyers Assistant, your daily tasks will include creating and amending purchase orders, communicating regularly with stores and suppliers and other general administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating SKUs/barcodes and other product information in EEE
- Create purchase orders using EEE
- General filing of paperwork
- Creating product recalls and following through on product recalls
- Printing out barcode labels as required
- Running reports in accordance with business requirements
- Price changes in EEE in accordance with markdowns
- Creation of promotion requests for temporary price changes
- Send summary of all temporary promotions to stores in excel spreadsheet
- Setup new suppliers in EEE
- Updating of store allocation %s as required by buyers
- Customer and store product queries
- Collecting new samples for the warehouse as required
- Product research/trends as required by the business
- Keep showroom area in a tidy and organised state, clearing out old samples as required
