Who you are

You nurture a deep passion, curiosity, energy and understanding of home furnishing and people’s everyday lives at home. You ideally have previous leadership experience working in a graphic communications team within IKEA, an advertising agency or design studio. You incorporate creative and commercial visual competence with a keen eye and appreciation of aesthetics in graphic design and possess extensive experience of using graphic design software and production tools including InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop. As a leader you enjoy taking responsibility and acting as an inspiring and motivating role model with a commercial mindset and are confident in communicating, influencing and coaching others. You have a strong desire to continually seek out opportunities that improve the way we work. You may be required to work on the weekends and public holidays if needed.

**Responsibilities**:
As Graphic Communication Leader, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Taking a leading role in overseeing the complete range of customer store communication.
- Ensuring IKEA graphic communication is clear, consistent, understandable, uncluttered and correctly placed.
- Using your graphic design skills, the IKEA Concept and IKEA visual and copy identity to create and implement graphic solutions that support commercial priorities and our visual uniqueness.

Together as a team

The graphic communication team is responsible for ensuring all graphic communication in and outside the IKEA store complies with IKEA visual and copy identity guidelines. The team have the exciting challenge of presenting the uniqueness of the IKEA Brand and distance the IKEA store from the competition. The graphic communication team develop and implement efficient and effective store communication that supports the customer journey.

Additional Information

This opportunity is permanent full time, 76 hours per/fortnight.
