**The Role**
As the EL 1 Business Manager you will support the Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) by providing Corporate Services including administration support and the delivery of Business Plan activities. The Business Manager is the functional lead of the Business Management Unit, performing activities that support the delivery of procedural, operational, administrative, workforce and business support activities across the Systems Program Office (SPO).
You will be responsible for a team of staff delivering services in the following areas:
- Corporate Services
- WHS
- Risk
- Security
- Internal Assurance
Additionally, the duties of the EL 1 Business Support Manager include but are not limited to the following:
- Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders at the strategic and operational level
- Provide guidance and information in relation to AASPO Workforce and Recruitment
- Chair the quarterly AASPO WHS Committee meeting
- Manage and coordinate projects as directed
**About our Team**
Army Aviation Systems Program Office (AASPO) is principally responsible for the sustainment of the MRH Taipan and ARH Tiger. AASPO is located in South East Queensland, with offices in Brisbane CBD, Brisbane Airport and Oakey.
AASPO is part of the Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB), which in turn is a key Branch within the Rotary Aerospace and Surveillance System Division (RASSD) of CASG. You will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in people management skills in order to lead a high performing and cohesive team. You will be able to identify opportunities for building team capability by developing and implementing work plans, setting performance indicators and reviewing individual, team and business performance.
