**The Role**
The Maritime Cross Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO) are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated EL1 Business Manager to manage and provide support to ensure compliance and sound governance of MCPSPO business and administration functions.

Leading a small team, you will be responsible for management of business functions including Financial and Business Planning, Governance, Human Resources, Security, Work Place Health and Safety, Information, Continuous Improvement, and day-to-day running of the unit. You will be able to work in an integrated workforce to achieve complex and very complex procedural, operational, administrative and business management work.

We are looking for people with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and exercise discretion. We operate in a complex and constantly changing environment where we actively adapt to come up with innovative solutions, and influence our stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

**About our Team**
The Maritime Cross Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO) within Maritime Systems Division, is the lead agency for delivery of cross-Class sustainment services and advice across the maritime environment. MCPSPO sustains and manages a range of complex military systems and supplies, through an extensive network of industry partners, domestic and off-shore.

Our operating environment is complex and challenging, and requires exceptional contract and relationship management skills. MCPSPO is comprised of three functions: Commercial, Sustainment and Engineering.

The teams work together in a complex, fast paced environment as part of a diverse and inclusive Branch environment that encompasses a variety of knowledge, skills and experience within a supportive hierarchy.

You will be working with talented colleagues, who will provide you with guidance and support to ensure that you have everything you need to succeed.
