**About the role**
We’re looking for a Head of Data & Analytics to join our talented IT & Digital Enablement team in our Clayton, Melbourne office. In this high impact leadership role, you’ll be responsible for growing a team of professional data scientists / engineers to build robust data, analytical, science and AI practices that deliver insights. You’ll be growing the organisation and increasing competitive advantage, through the alignment of people, process and technology.
As a thought leader you’ll leverage your strategic capability and contribute to the team’s collaborative approach to tech strategy, represent a future-oriented view of the evolving fields and contribute to making the business ready to adapt, adopt and harness the advantages for capability, efficiency and growth.
You will focus on co-creating with the business how AI can be strategically leveraged, safely utilised and deployed throughout the organisation to drive efficiency so people can focus on value creation.
**Responsibilities**
- Accountability for DuluxGroup data management capability and governance practices and principles
- Accountability for business intelligence platforms, standard reporting platforms and descriptive analytics and visualization capability
- Accountability for Advanced Analytics delivery capability
- Development of AI capability across the group, to enable implementation of usage cases to demonstrate tangible business value and operational efficiency
- Influencing and enhancing a data-driven culture for DuluxGroup through, community, people and talent development
- Coach, mentor and develop a strong team

- Significant people leadership experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and evidence of currency
- Relevant experience demonstrating growth in technical capability
- Great commercial acumen and the ability to tell a compelling story
- Strong stakeholder management & relationship building skills
