We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced Field Service Technician with a focus on digital signage around the Sydney region. Based in the Sydney office and working as part of the service team and also the manufacturing team, you will be involved in the maintenance servicing, breakdown support and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.

This is an exciting and varied role and encourage people who are reliable, motivated and suitably qualified to apply. The role involves regional travel throughout the state to Newcastle and Wollongong on occasion. There may also be the need for occasional interstate travel.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Carry out service work as specified in existing service contracts.
- Install hardware and assist with the commissioning of sites to customer requirements.
- Perform site audits.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs.
- Execute modifications and upgrades of existing signage on sites.
- Maintain internal relationships with sales and technical teams through effective communication.

**In order to be successful for this role, it is expected that you possess the following**:

- Good work ethic with mechanical/electrical aptitude &/or trade qualification
- Some experience in electrical troubleshooting skills (Low voltage 12vdc)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with methodical approach to solving technical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals & drawings.
- Intermediate knowledge in MS Office with comfort using various Apps/software on associated devices.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Customer focused and able to work both independently as well as part of a team.
- A confident, self-motivated team player
- Driver’s license

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Field Technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian Driver's License (required)
