The Digital Transformation Team within RDS IT operates as a startup within Enterprise and is an interdisciplinary team of creative technologists, collaborating across Transport to introduce new ways of thinking - delivering business value quickly and effectively.

We combine industry best practice in Design Thinking and Human Centered Design with Lean Start Up Techniques and Technologies to deliver tangible outcomes our clients can use to propel their work forward. By surfacing human needs within systems, using an Agile approach, and rapidly validating & iterating ideas, we are able to strategically uplift and transform processes using emerging technology.

**The opportunity**

We have a new opportunity for a Agile Delivery Lead, a permanent full time role within the Transformation & Design team. This role leads and manages the delivery of multiple complex projects within clearly defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints and provides expert advice to facilitate the delivery of strategic priorities, drive efficiency and improve business and customer outcomes. The role sits within our Digital Transformation team.

Your role will include:

- Provide assistance with assessing ICT business requests for new products and services.
- Assist with defining solutions that are aligned to the organisational Enterprise Architecture to meet business needs and demands.
- Setup and facilitate project delivery by creating and managing project backlogs and roadmaps, writing user stories, and managing tasks with the team through daily project check-ins.
- Lead the branch practice to develop and maintain backlog of work to be delivered by the team.
- Lead planning tasks with product owners, stakeholders, project managers and delivery teams to elicit requirements and delivery priority.
- Manage and facilitate delivery team ceremonies with the team’s Developers and Solution Architects to deliver high quality decision making generated by the team.
- Drive continuous improvement processes and coach the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organisation.
- Defining and maintaining the financial viability of projects
- Proactively work with suppliers and support the organisation to ensure IT services deliver against business case benefits and contribute to business objectives.
- Develop, implement and manage a portfolio of complex projects and programs including developing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, and meeting reporting requirements to achieve outcomes and meet requirements.
- Drive end-to end process improvements and establish clear pathways to achieve improved customer and business outcomes across various TfNSW business units and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders by gaining a thorough understanding of their technical and business requirements and using effective communication and liaison skills to provide advice on relevant projects.
- Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other priorities.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of effective business and communications strategies for projects, programs and initiatives.
- Facilitate and drive support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example to increase the effectiveness across the branch.
- Demonstrate the five ways of leading behaviours to deliver organisational outcomes for our customers, our people and communities for the greater good.
