St Ives, Australia Three Beans Cafe Full time

We are seeking a cafe manager for our well established cafe located in St Ives Village shopping centre.

Must have barista skills and knowledge of food.

Café Manager Duties
- Three Beans Franchise Operations & Daily Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth service and opening/closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (complying with NSW Food Authority and franchise standards).
- Ensure equipment maintenance and report/fix issues promptly.

Staff Management
- Recruit, train, roster, and supervise baristas, kitchen staff, and floor staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and provide coaching.
- Ensure a positive, motivated team culture in line with the Three Beans brand.

Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints effectively and professionally.
- Build loyal customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction remains high.
- Handle customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.

Inventory & Stock Control
- Order and manage stock and supplies (food, coffee, packaging, etc.) through approved suppliers.
- Track wastage, perform stocktakes, and manage cost control and portioning to meet profit targets.
- Ensure all items meet franchise sourcing and sustainability requirements.

Sales & Financials
- Monitor and report on daily/weekly sales, costs, and profit margins.
- Use POS systems (e.g., Kounta, Lightspeed) to manage transactions and reporting.
- Handle cash management, banking, and till reconciliation.

Marketing & Promotion (Local Store Level)
- Implement local marketing initiatives within the franchise guidelines.
- Promote specials, seasonal offers, and community engagement events.
- Maintain a good social media presence if permitted by franchise policy.

Compliance & Franchise Standards
- Adhere to Three Beans operational manuals and brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations.
- Participate in franchise training and audits, and action any feedback.

Pay: $28.87 - $36.09 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
