**About the Role**
As an Executive Support Officer, you will provide high quality administrative support to the senior leadership team in the School of Culture and Communication. This includes providing executive assistance to the Head of School and governance activities such as preparation and distribution of agenda papers, minute taking and tracking of action items. You will be the main point of contact for queries relating to the Head of School and senior leadership team, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and diplomatic delivery of administrative services to our internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide executive and administrative support to School meetings and committees, such as School Executive and other governance committees. This involves activities such as preparation and distribution of agenda papers, minute taking and tracking of action items
- Coordinate and support School events, including planning, risk management, promotion, and reporting.
- Establish processes and procedures to coordinate and streamline the workflows of the executive office, including ensuring high-quality record keeping practices.

You will also have:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 including a high-level competence in the use of Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and an ability to quickly learn new software packages
- A willingness to work independently and with others to achieve optimal outcomes for the School
- Flexibility in adapting to a changing environment
