**Role Summary**

Reporting to the Regional Lead of Global External Supply (GES), the Category Manager is responsible for the operational, financial performance and strategic value of a portfolio that includes Tier 1 contract manufacturer (CMO) and strategic suppliers.

The Category Manager will lead a cross functional team operating within a Virtual Plant Team model (VPT), working closely with all enabling functions (e.g. quality, supply chain, finance, technical) to deliver on performance targets ensuring full adherence to quality, supply and financial performance and improvements.

The role includes responsibility for oversight of new product introduction and launch as well as continuous improvement initiatives and business continuity. The role may require a person to be in plant at CMO as and when needed to fulfill these business needs.

Maintaining and building relationships with our key internal and external stakeholders and supplier network including dispute resolution, problem solving and developing commercial solutions are key operational activities of the Category Manager.
