Sydney, Australia UKO Full time

**About the role**

At UKO, we develop purposefully designed boutique accommodation spaces across Sydney that enable people to connect & network. UKO is where real friendships are made and many stories have begun.

We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team who can really foster a sense of community.

As a Community Manager, your role will be varied. You will manage the day-to-day leases and operations of your property as well as the profitability. You will need to have incredible people skills, be able to remain cool under pressure, and be able to coordinate the many moving parts of coliving seamlessly.

**Your responsibilities**:

- ** Drive the financial success of your property and entertain good relations with the landlord**
- Take full control of your property’s P&L: manage revenue and occupancy levels and make the most within the budgets provided
- Advertise available rooms and manage online listings, including running property inspections
- Routinely analyse market rates and align your rates
- Build strong rapport with the landlord, providing timely information on their property and monthly reports
- ** Property management & operations**
- Ensure optimal presentation of the site
- Manage suppliers (cleaning, maintenance, linen, etc.) and contractors
- ** Community & tenant care**
- Create a homey, comfortable environment for tenants
- Build good relationships with tenants, managing their requests (and sometimes complaints) professionally, patiently and with a smile
- Use the UKO app to engage your community
- Organise activities and events at your location such as community dinners, yoga, movie nights, trivia nights or even the occasional gin-making workshop

This is a great role for someone experienced in customer service, hospitality, accommodation, or property management who is looking for the next step in their career where they can really take ownership and make something their own.

A real estate agent’s representative (Certificate IV) license will be required to carry out the role.
