**About the Company**

We have a rewarding and exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to join a large NSW Government organisation. This role is responsible for for managing, coordinating, and delivering a broad range of internal and external corporate communication services. We are looking for someone to start in the new year for a 6 month contract, paying up to $800 p/d. This role is located in Sydney CBD with working from home 2-3 days a week.

**About the Role**
- Lead the design and development of communication plans and materials, ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational plan.
- Provide expert advice on content, style, and channels that the team should adopt to be most effective and impactful
- Manage and monitor internal and external communication plans so that stakeholders are informed of branch/agency initiatives
- Provide regular and ongoing strategic guidance and advice to Leaders on communications to equip them with right messaging
- Develop and implement appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of communications strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets and risk management plans

**About you**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Communications Advisor in a delivery role for a major corporation, government department or agency environment
- Demonstrated ability in design, delivery and implementation of proactive communication and engagement plans
- A strong team player with proven ability to collaborate with others
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including strong corporate and policy communication skills
- Strategic thinker
