$800 per day plus super - Elizabeth Street Sydney/ Hybrid Working - 6 months contract Our large state government client is seeking a Communication Manager, the role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and delivering a broad range of internal and external corporate communication services to support the successful delivery of the Industry Engagement and Development strategic and operational plan. The role focuses on managing the interface with Infrastructure and Place, Transport, Industry and Government stakeholders. The position works collaboratively across the team to develop and maintain business partnerships to provide effective strategic communication advice and support. This includes keeping stakeholders informed of the plans, progress and issues of the services, initiative, activities, and projects in train. **Key accountabilities** - Lead the design and development of the Industry Engagement and Development communication plan and materials, ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational plan - Provide expert advice on content, style, and channels that the team should adopt to be most effective and impactful - Manage and monitor internal and external communication plans so that stakeholders are informed of branch/agency initiatives and direction and have mechanisms for providing feedback. - Provide regular and ongoing strategic guidance and advice to Leaders on communications to equip them with right messaging at the right time and develop and maintain a bank of key messages and project specific information to support public speaking engagements. - Develop and implement appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of communications strategies and initiatives to allow continuous improvement of communications and messaging - Build effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the Agency and within the Division to ensure swift, accurate and informative responses to stakeholder needs - Develop and manage project plans, budgets and risk management plans consistent with Divisional Plan and the Delivery Plan.
