Your Opportunity
**As the Business Development Coordinator you will**:
- Lead & Support the Business Development Support Officers, responsible for Business Development administrative operations across the region.
- Work closely with our Operational Managers in Faculty and Educational delivery teams to identify and develop market opportunities for revenue, collaborate with our Business Development Officers to contribute to the development of business development plans, undertake market research to qualify and convert leads into commercial business.
- Foster strong internal and external client and key stakeholder relationships to maintain or increase existing revenue streams.
This position reports to the Manager, Commercial Business, Business Development
This is a permanent Full Time role.
The position will be based primarily at Ashmore however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Business Development Support Officers by providing systems and process training, ensuring tasks and processes align with operational objectives and requirements, and coordinating and delegating workloads to ensure deadlines are achieved without compromise to the provision of exceptional customer service.
- Account management of key client contracts, responsible for developing and maintaining strong client and student relationships, providing effective and reliable operational and reporting practices, and identifying opportunities that encourage continued business relationship and revenue growth.
- Support the Business Development Team, by being the key point of contact to facilitate a broad range of administrative activities, project manage the Commercial CRM, identify improvement opportunities and actively contributing to enhancing our Business Development processes and practices.
- Contribute to the Business Development team's financial Key Performance Indicators, with a individual KPI accountability for generating revenue for each contract being managed (KPI is dynamic and set by management specific to the requirements of the key client contract).
- Develop relevant levels of industry and product knowledge and remain current with funding, the industry environment, education reform and identify emerging markets for growth, in order to provide specific and accurate information and advice required with contract management.
- Develop and implement campaign schedules to support business development plans and maximise new business opportunities and conversion, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand contractual terms and manage ongoing obligations which result in contractual financial performance, risk management and continuance/renewal.
- Liaise and coordinate with relevant TQGC stakeholders to ensure compliance across client contracts and intervene with solutions when required to ensure obligations are met as agreed.
- Develop productive student relationships, negotiate and problem solve to generate positive faculty, key client and student outcomes.
- Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health, safety, wellness and sustainability.
