**ABOUT US**

The Sydney Business and Travel Academy is one of Sydney’s leading Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) providing Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to International students. We are committed to providing quality training and assessment to our student cohort and are seeking dynamic trainers and assessors to join our team.

**Position Description**:

- Develop and update course materials to align with current ESL teaching methodologies.
- Ensure the smooth delivery of classes while maintaining compliance with educational standards.
- Manage the recruitment and selection of ELICOS teachers.
- Monitor teacher performance, and conduct performance reviews.
- Train administrative and academic management staff supporting SELA.
- Ensure full compliance with The ELICOS Standards 2018, NEAS QUALITY ASSURANCE FRAMEWORK, and the National Code of Practice.
- Prepare and manage all NEAS visits and course proposals for ASQA approval.
- Assist the marketing department in recruiting new students through seminars and course information dissemination.
- Conduct placement tests for new SELA students.
- Oversee the administration of assessments and update as needed.
- Manage student surveys and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Facilitate teacher meetings every 5 weeks.

**Education and Qualifications required**:

- Recognized bachelor's degree
- MA TESOL (or equivalent)
- Minimum three years’ leadership and management experience in quality English language institutions
- Familiarity with ESL teaching methodologies and compliance standards.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
