Anixter is seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team at our Brisbane location.

**The Role**

In this role, you will interact with existing trade customers to increase sales of our products and services by obtaining and up-selling orders, processing quotations, consulting with suppliers and managing lead times. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with outside sales.

Reporting to the State Manger, the Inside Sales Team provides a diverse range of Security, Networking, Datacom and Telecom product solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage inbound sales calls
- Prepares, generates, and follows up on quotations
- Serve a variety of markets by suggesting and delivering the right product solutions to meet customer needs
- Initiate, establish, and build strong customer relationships, retention and loyalty
- Make cold and warm outbound sales calls to uncover opportunities
- Co-ordinate with key stakeholders including sales teams, inventory management, warehouse and supply partners to deliver outcomes for customers
- Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish organisational goals

**Requirements**:

- Strong phone presence with the ability to sell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working in a high pressure and/or fast paced customer service or inside sales environment
- Technical aptitude with the willingness to learn products, system design and solutionsExcellent administration skills and organisation
