**Role**
To provide exceptional customer service and support whilst setting customer expectations and strategy for the claim. To deliver best practice claims management for medium complex property and motor claims in line with the strategic and operational objectives of the business whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
Your client-first focus is apparent in your excellent customer service approach and ability to manage your relationships with your colleagues across the business. Known for your great communication, both verbal and written, you have a professional phone manner and are to build rapport and manage expectations well. You take pride in your high attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving.
You can work independently but can collaborate and communicate with your team members, comfortable in asking for assistance if needed. You have the maturity to manage and motivate yourself, especially in our current hybrid environment.
**If you were in this role last week, here's what you might have been doing**
- Review all new Landlord claims and support customers through the claims process
- Set customer expectations for future management of the claim
- Set claim strategy based on complexity of the claim and existing claims processes
- Appoint panel service providers in line with guidelines
- Make indemnity decisions within terms of policy and Code of Practice
- Review claims reserve based on information received throughout the life of the claim
- Professionally manage a portfolio of low and medium complexity Landlord claims in a proactive and customer focussed manner with a strong financial focus.
- Manage claims in line with claims guidelines and service standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory regimes, including completion of all mandatory compliance training within defined timelines.
- Provide feedback and input regarding the performance of Guild panel service providers
- Ensure strong relationships and collaboration within claims and other internal stakeholder groups/divisions
- Contribute to the development and ongoing actions for your personal development plan
- Assist and undertake any other duties, as required, by the Claims Team Leader, Short Tail Claims Manager and/or Head of Claims.
