**ABOUT THE ROLE**

An exciting opportunity exists for a communications professional to join our passionate, highly motivated team. The Communications Specialist will play a key role in creating, managing, and delivering engaging content across print and digital platforms.

**_Please note, this is a permanent part-time _**_(3 days per week) _**_opportunity commencing at The King's School in North Parramatta._**

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you meet the following:

- Proven experience in communications or copywriting effectively for different audiences
- Develop, write, edit, and proofread engaging content for print and digital media
- Experience working with design and production teams to ensure all print materials meet brand guidelines and project timelines
- High levels of written and verbal communication skills to work professionally with parents, staff, students and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications, or relevant experience / or other qualifications in communication or a related discipline
- Demonstrated Intermediate/Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
- Experience working as a journalist is preferred
- Experience in the education sector is desirable
