ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a communications professional to join our passionate, highly motivated team. The Communications Specialist will play a key role in creating, managing, and delivering engaging content across print and digital platforms.

Please note, this is a permanent part-time (3 days per week) opportunity commencing at The King's School in North Parramatta.

To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you meet the following:

  • Proven experience in communications or copywriting effectively for different audiences
  • Develop, write, edit, and proofread engaging content for print and digital media
  • Experience working with design and production teams to ensure all print materials meet brand guidelines and project timelines
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills to work professionally with parents, staff, students and external stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications, or relevant experience / or other qualifications in communication or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated Intermediate/Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
  • Experience working as a journalist is preferred
  • Experience in the education sector is desirable
