About the Role

**As the Principal you will**:
Play a vital role in delivering the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division. The leadership of principals is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools. Principals have a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.In addition to the primary role of leading the school and its operations, Principals are expected to take a leadership role in the broader education and corporate arenas.

- Demonstrated leadership of a curriculum, teaching and learning environment, leading to the achievement of quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills and the ability to use those to influence the educational agenda for state schooling.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage human, financial and physical resources to deliver high quality organisational outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake, in addition to the successful leadership of a large and complex school, executive leadership roles in the broader education community and corporate arena.
