**About the team**:
To understand our merchandise business, we need to understand our customers. That’s why you’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world. We’re passionate about working at the forefront of merchandising and making sure our customers have quality products at the right price.

**About the role**:
Support the Range and Space team in maintaining data integrity, through providing advice on process development, analytics and ad-hoc reporting.
- Conducting strategic and ad-hoc analytics for internal Range and Space team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Manage personal and team compliance with internal company policies and procedures (including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations
- Integrate compliance requirements into business planning and practices
- Communicate and reinforce the importance of compliance as part of business culture
- Manage process improvement, pain point identification and solution development
- Identify opportunities for and develop plans to improve business process including end to end Range Change process, Floor Planning and drive ongoing improvement in the performance of space
- Contribute to the continual improvement of processes, conduct training and/or individual coaching so team are up to date with Range and Space best practice and rollout changes/initiatives

**About you and your skills**:

- Experience within a similar retail environment, with Visual Presentation (VP) experience preferable
- Experience in operating technical shelf-planning software at a high level
- In depth knowledge of product relationships and interdependencies within a supermarket
- Ability to work within a team-based environment, with demonstrated experience leading and managing a team to meet objectives
- Demonstrated capability and prior experience developing and delivering technical training
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with demonstrated success at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at various levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility
- Understanding of the practical implications of decisions made during layout creation
