**About the role**

The company is going through a large scale multi year transformation and is important that the benefits are aligned to the strategic plan. In addition, the technology target operating model is a key driver for change within the organisation, hence ensuring prioritised items realise their benefits is crucial.

We are looking for an exceptional Benefits Realisation Specialist to manage the benefit forecasting and realisation across both technology portfolios and the technology operating model. The role will involve facing off and influencing the Technology Leadership Team and their direct reports. Collaboration with Group and Technology Strategy teams is also essential for reporting purposes.

The role will sit under the Portfolio Strategy and Planning stream within the broader Portfolio Value and Orchestration (PVO) team. The PVO team sits directly under the GM - Technology Management and Transformation. This team is accountable for creating an environment that enables Coles Group’s strategic objectives and maximises value in technology portfolio planning, delivery and people capabilities.
- Key responsibilities include:_
- Demonstrated experience in performing a Benefits Specialist role for a business/technology function within a retail environment (although not essential)
- Worked in an organisation undertaking large scale technology transformation.
- Understands how the Technology Strategy and Planning cycle works
- A thorough understanding of the Portfolio prioritisation framework for the processing of pipeline demand
- A deep understanding of Benefit Management Frameworks for both Financial and Non-Financial Benefits. Has worked on the creation/refinement of a Benefit Management Framework within a large organisation. Also, embedded the framework across the organisation.
- A thorough understanding on the generation of Portfolio Scorecards that link to the Technology Strategy Plan. Also, the use of OKRs/KPIs/metrics to access the Scorecards and ultimately realise the Financial and Non-Financial Benefits
